Privacy Policy

MySalaryDetails (mysalarydetails.com) is an independently operated website, not a registered company. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it and how we handle that information.

Salary estimate submissions. When you check your salary, we store the role, city, company, years of experience, and CTC you enter, along with the estimate we generate from it. Email is optional on this form — if you leave it blank, we don't collect it.

Anonymous salary map contributions. The salary map form never asks for an email or name — those submissions are anonymous by design.

Account information. If you create an account (email/password or "Continue with Google"), our authentication provider, Supabase, stores your email and manages your login credentials on our behalf. We link any results you choose to save to your dashboard to that account.

We don't collect payment information — MySalaryDetails is free to use.

• To compute and display your salary estimate or calculator result.
• In aggregate, to improve the crowdsourced benchmark data that powers estimates for every user — individual submissions are blended into ranges and medians, never shown or shared as a single person's data tied to an identity.
• If you save a result, to show it back to you on your dashboard.
• If you provide an email, to correspond with you about your submission if needed.

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't run ads, ad trackers, or third-party analytics on the site.
• We don't publish individual salary submissions — the salary map only ever shows aggregated medians by city and role.

We use Supabase to host our database and handle authentication, and Netlify to host the website. Both process data on our behalf as infrastructure providers, under their own security and privacy practices — neither uses your data for their own marketing.

MySalaryDetails only sets essential cookies needed to keep you signed in (via Supabase Auth). We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Submissions are kept to keep the benchmark dataset accurate over time. If you'd like your data — including any account or saved dashboard results — deleted, email us at mindkhichadi@gmail.com and we'll remove it.

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us at the address below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

MySalaryDetails is not directed at children under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
